Seeking new possibilities of change and reformation, critical of the capitalist system that created the textile industry, in protest of the inhumane labor conditions these works are created without the labor of stitching instead the substitution of glue or knotting has taken its place.  Pieces are titled as Grey’s not referring to the color grey but referring to the grey areas of capitalism and the politics of the textile industry. Cannibalizing work and embracing the unknown, the intuitive, not to destroy but to generate new work that may constantly shape-shift into new forms. This process echoing of the instability caused by global textile trade and industry while stating optimistically that we can change, shift things around and perhaps reform this industry.
